Synopsis: At 2:00 am today, the Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated based on satellite and surface data at 600 km East Southeast of General Santos City (5.0°N, 130.5°E). Northeast monsoon affecting Luzon.

Forecast: Eastern Visayas and Mindanao will have mostly cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms becoming cloudy with widespread rains over Eastern and Southern Mindanao which may trigger flashfloods and landslides. The rest of Visayas will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms. Northern and Eastern Luzon will be mostly cloudy with light rains while the rest of Luzon will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with light rains.
Moderate to strong winds blowing from the Northeast will prevail over Luzon and Visayas and the coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to rough. Elsewhere, winds will be moderate to occasionally strong coming from the Northeast and East with moderate to occasionally rough seas.

Pag-asa said it could be a tropical depression within 2 - 3 days, will this could be the first storm in general santos city, scary... need to pack my bag..
